These agreements were once useful as shortcuts to your growth. Because they created high-intensity high-contrast experiences that forced you to learn, grow, and find a better way ... fast.
But now those old agreements bind us to cycles of struggle and unnecessary suffering.

MERCY WORKS BY RESTORING THE WEB OF LIFE
The web of life holds all things in dynamic fluid equilibrium.
All forces in living balance.
The scientific name for this is the Vector Equilibrium. But it shows up across so many wisdom traditions with so many names: The Crystalline Matrix, Indra's Net, the Divine Tapestry, and so on.
When we make agreements to learn through harm and suffering, we bend or break the Web of Life out of shape.
When we stay in situations that are toxic to us, or find ourselves in ongoing high-stress scenarios, we damage the web of our Lives. When we deny our true selves and try to fit into what was never truly for us, we damage the web of our Lives.
When our ancestors have lived through atrocity, there was damage to the epigenetic web of our Lives that carries forward through the generations until it is healed.
When we cause large-scale environmental devastation, when we allow the monetization of suffering, we damage the web of our Lives.
When the Web of Life is too damaged to sustain us, Life itself can be at risk.
WE REPAIR THE WEB OF LIFE TOGETHER
When we release and rewrite our agreements to evolve through suffering, we restore the Web of Life that holds and sustains us.
When we free ourselves and others from mirroring our flaws so we can find them, and instead let each person be their own fully human selves, we restore the Web of Life.
When we wash forgiveness through the tens of thousands of (known and unknown ways) others have caused us to suffer - and we have caused others to suffer - our lives come into a state of Grace, and we restore the Web of Life.
When we emancipate our ancestors from the suffering they survived, by releasing ancient contracts that bound them, we protect ourselves from repeating that pain as well, and restore the Web of Life.
THERE IS SO MUCH MERCY available when we are willing to stop doing it all the hard way and open up.
